Google doesn’t rank your website. It ranks each page. The more thorough, targeted, authoritative, entertaining you make your pages the higher they will rank.
The length of your post is directly related to its position on Google searches. If you look at the image below, you’ll see the number of words you use is directly related to its position on Google searches. If your competition’s posts are over 2000 words, you need to make yours more than 2,000 words. Check your competition and know how many words they use. If their posts are 300 words, and they rank on the first page then make yours 500.
